A recent tarmac driveway transformation in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

BEFORE

The previous driveway was only suitable for 1 vehicle and there was a large banked area to the left and immediately to the front door. The retaining walls were severely damaged and unstable, the steps were unsuitable, whilst the red tarmac drive was showing a good 30 years of wear and tear.

AFTER

The site was cleared (4 grab lorries) worth of earth and rubble the area was prepared using MOT class 1 sub-base.  We built new double skinned retaining walls to the right hand side of the driveway, along with feature curved walls around the small landscaped area to the left hand side of the driveway. New channel drainage was installed across the entire front of the property and installed into the existing rain water gully.

Light grey pavers were used around the perimeter of the driveway and across the main entrance. The driveway was finished in SMA black tarmac and is now suitable for 3 vehicles.

The new driveway took just 9 days from start to finish.
